1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and White Glove House Cleaning Service, an Ottawa, Ontario cleaning service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or book a service. Our Privacy Policy also explains how we handle personal information.
2. Quotes and bookings
Website requests are requests for a quote, not confirmed appointments. A booking is confirmed only when we accept the requested date, scope, and price. Quotes rely on the information you provide and may change if the property condition, size, requested work, access, or other circumstances differ materially. Applicable taxes or clearly disclosed additional services may be added.
3. Customer responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact and property information, safe and timely access to the premises, working utilities reasonably needed for cleaning, and notice of hazards, fragile items, pets, alarms, or special-care surfaces. Please secure valuables, cash, medication, confidential materials, and irreplaceable items. We may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe, unlawful, unsanitary beyond the agreed scope, or materially different from what was disclosed.
4. Service scope and satisfaction
Only services included in the confirmed booking are provided. Results can vary based on age, wear, damage, staining, material condition, and prior maintenance. If you believe agreed work was missed, contact us within 24 hours of the service. We may inspect the issue and, where appropriate, return to re-clean the affected area. A re-clean is the usual remedy for service-quality concerns and does not cover permanent damage, ordinary wear, or conditions outside the agreed scope.
5. Changes, cancellations, and access
Call (613) 800-3496 as soon as possible to change or cancel a booking. Any cancellation, lockout, or late-change fee must be disclosed when the booking is confirmed or before it is charged. If we cannot safely enter or begin service at the scheduled time, the visit may need to be rescheduled.
6. Payment
Payment is due according to the price and timing confirmed for your booking. You authorize charges you approve for completed services and agreed additions. If you dispute a charge, contact us promptly so we can review it.
7. Damage and liability
Report suspected loss or damage within 24 hours and preserve relevant photographs or other information. We may inspect and investigate a claim. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, ordinary wear, undisclosed defects, improperly installed items, or damage caused by following unsafe or incorrect customer instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
8. Text messaging terms
When you separately opt in, White Glove House Cleaning Service may send conversational text messages about quote requests, appointments, arrival and completion updates, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
